We are thrilled to have the opportunity to share our family with you. We have always wanted a large, growing family and will love every child of any race or gender with all of our hearts. Since adopting our daughter, Danae, we feel strongly we should adopt again and can’t wait for our family to grow through another adoption!

About Us

We are a warm family full of joy, fun and peace. Our family is deeply involved in our church and community and God has blessed us both with a strong love for children. Carl’s job as a pilot in the Army benefits our family in many ways, some of which include full medical care at almost no cost, the chance to travel around the world to see many new exciting cultures and countries, and a very family-focused career. We have one little boy named Trey who has Alyssa’s sweet temper and Carl’s active mind. We want our family to grow and see God leading us to do that through adoption.

We enjoy many indoor and outdoor activities and love to discover new adventures. We spend time hiking and biking on our mountainside property and at our family’s lake and beach houses. We play many sports; our favorites being tennis, racquetball, and frisbee. We enjoy reading and read aloud as a family each day. We also enjoy all kinds of music and love to spend a relaxing evening playing family board games or watching old classics.

About Carl

Carl is known for his quick smile and energy in life. He works hard, finds joy in everything and keeps God centered in his life. He is a helicopter pilot in the Army and is our hero.

He is a driven and accomplished husband and father. Carl is a very devoted father spending several hours after work playing with Trey and Danae, not to mention his whole weekend is set aside for the family. You can see the delight he has in playing with the kids, making them laugh and reading to them.

About Alyssa

Alyssa has a special place in her heart for children. She loves spending her days with Trey and Danae, either outside exploring or inside jumping on the trampoline.

She is joyful in all that she does and displays it in her creativity with cooking, gardening and artwork. She teaches yoga at a local gym and sign language to our children. Alyssa’s talents and love for being creative are part of what makes us an outstanding family.

Our Family

Trey is our precious two year old son who loves to laugh and is always active! Danae, eight months old, is our beautiful daughter who continues to amaze us with her exuberant personality and always wants to be included. It was an amazing experience and blessing to adopt Danae and we look forward to another great adoption! The kids have a wonderful relationship and love to spend time together.

Trey and Danae are delightful siblings and look forward to giving all their love to their new brother or sister. 

Our Faith & Family

We both grew up in strong Christian homes and have made that faith one of the most important aspects of our family. We love to pray and read the Bible daily and we hope to teach our children a love for God and others. Having both grown up with many siblings we saw firsthand the strong ties between faith and a loving family. 

Our family is close-knit and we are always in contact with them. We visit with our extended family many times a year. They are also looking forward to seeing our family grow and will love each of our children equally.

Home is Where the Heart Is

One advantage our family has in the military is that we can live in a variety of wonderful locations. We have recently moved into a newly renovated three bedroom house in Kansas where we have lots of room for our growing family! Our diverse neighborhood is full of kids and there are 3 parks within walking distance of our home. 

We plan on providing educational opportunities from kindergarten through college for all of our children. We will encourage our children to play musical instruments and sports and will support them in their endeavors.

Our Family Promise

Our promise is to raise your child in a loving and Godly home. We will share with your child his or her special adoption story and will teach your child of God’s true love for them. We are very open to building a relationship with you through skype, pictures, letters, emails, texts, or phone calls.
