Dear Birthmother,

Family has always been the central focus of our lives and we were eager to begin starting a family of our own. After years of struggling with infertility issues, we have recognized God’s desire for us to adopt.

About Us

We met while working at the same school and have now been very happily married for six years. We have both taught children who have special needs and enjoy every opportunity to help kids.

We’ve traveled to Jamaica and each summer we go to different cities to visit major league baseball stadiums. We also enjoy going to movies, barbecues with the family, volunteering at church, and simply enjoying each other’s company.

Heeeere’s Jacques!!!

It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with Jacques. He is caring and compassionate who always puts others before him. Jacques is a friendly, easy-going guy who is loved by everyone. Jacques has a great sense of humor and never takes himself too seriously. His mild-mannered temper will help him be a great father.

Jacques is a man of many talents and interests. Not only is he a master griller, he’s also a wiz with a sauté pan. Jacques loves sports, especially the Cubs and the Bears.

Jacques earned his master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology two years ago. He is great with children, a good provider and husband, and will be a wonderful dad. 

Heeeere’s Melissa!!!

I knew right away that Melissa was someone special when I saw her on her first day of teaching. As I watched her with her students it was hard to tell who was having more fun, the children or Melissa.

Melissa is very kind, gentle, and loving. She knows how to have fun, and she brightens up any room she enters. At parties with friends or family, all the children want to hang out with Melissa because she is silly and fun. Melissa is also a very giving person, and doesn’t hesitate to help anyone in need.

Melissa has a Master’s degree in Special Education, and is the best teacher I know. She has devoted her life to improving the lives of children, and loves her students as if they were her own. I know she will be the best mother in the world.

Family

We are very fortunate to each have wonderfully loving and supportive families that live so close to us. We both have similar backgrounds and we were taught at an early age that nothing is more important than family.

Jacques comes from a family full of boys and is the youngest of four. Jacques is very close to his mom and dad who are very excited and eager to be grandparents again. His mother is French-Canadian and is planning to teach your child French.

Melissa has a large close-knit family. Everyone lives within five minutes of each other. We get together with them often and they are all excited about our adoption plans. Your child would be the first grandchild for Melissa’s parents. 

Home, Community, and Faith

We built our house with a growing family in mind. We have a beautiful four bedroom home with an enormous backyard in a small town in Northwest Indiana. We have two loving and playful pugs that are great with children. We really have the best of both worlds where we live a small town life but are still close to a major city.

We are fortunate to be within walking distance of parks, baseball fields, a gymnastics gym, ice rink, and a four star rated school. We are near water parks and beautiful beaches on Lake Michigan. We are a short car ride from major sporting events and museums.

We are truly blessed to be members of a wonderful faith community. As part of our commitment to our Catholic faith and our love of family we are founding members of our parish’s adoption ministry, which raise awareness for adoption.
