Welcome! We're Mike and Sondra. After suffering four miscarriages, we have hopeful hearts, and are excited to become first-time parents through adoption.

About Us

We are both Registered Nurses and met at work almost nine years ago. We have been together for seven years and married for two years. We enjoy the outdoors, particularly in the fall. The things we enjoy doing together include traveling, hiking, theatre, and redecorating (we are on our 3rd go-around in seven years). Since we're both nurses, we also share a love of the medical field. We love our time together, but also have hobbies that we enjoy separately. We lean on each other in times of need and are each others support. We are each others best friends and have shared many highs and lows that have made us stronger as a couple. We are both equally excited to be starting a family and look forward to having a child to love.

All About Mike by Sondra

Mike is going to be the best daddy-I know this because he's the best husband to me. Mike will be the fun Dad who will wrestle on the floor, coach our child's little league team, watch cartoons and build forts. Although quiet and shy, once you have Mike's love -- you'll have a friend for life. Mike is successful at everything he attempts in life and has many talents I know he is excited to share with our child. Mike has dedicated himself to preparing our life and home for the arrival of a baby to love. 

All About Sondra by Mike

Sondra is a very special woman. She is a great example of everything that a mother, sister, daughter or aunt should be. She is a kind and compassionate person that will give you her all no matter what the circumstances are. She sees the good in all situations and her cup is always half full. She is motivated and always on the go, wanting to bring new experiences for us as a couple or for our nieces and nephews. Not a day goes by that she doesn't show me something new about herself. I am a lucky man to have found her and wish for nothing more than for us to complete our family. She has dreamt to be a mother for many years and that any child that calls her mom will be lucky to have her protection and support. Plus, she makes the best cookies ever!

Our Home in Minnesota

Our home is a five bedroom, two bath ranch-style house on a tree-lined street. We live on a cul-de-sac and together we've completely remodeled every surface our house. We have a dedicated playroom and nursery. We were both raised in central Minnesota and both of our families live nearby. Sondra's grandma lives across the street.

Our neighborhood is filled with a diverse mix of young families and retired couples. Our community has many parks, lakes, colleges, ballparks, shopping centers and fun family events. Our home is in one of the best school districts in the state. We live within an hour of a major metropolitan area. 

Our Promise to You

We promise to raise your child in a loving, fun, sensitive and nurturing environment. We will always guide him or her to achieve their own unique potential. There will be no shortage of kisses and cuddles. We promise to teach kindness, forgiveness, and empathy for others. We promise to share your child’s adoption story with him or her from a young age.
