Our Adoption Story
Amie & Heidi:
Evan will be six months already tomorrow! Here is our adoption story; we hope that it will give other waiting adoptive families hope in their wait...
It seemed like we would never get picked…and then our life changed within a few days.
We started our journey deciding what kind of adoption we wanted to pursue: international, domestic, agency, facilitation, etc. After a number of months of researching and phone calling, we picked Lifetime Adoption because it seemed to fit most with the involved approach we wanted to have to make the experience even more personal.
We jumped on board and did everything we were advised to do by Lifetime. Home study approval and profile design were our first projects, both completed within a couple of months. We kept our matching preferences very open; our only request was for an infant (or twins!). If God’s grand design for each little blessing chooses things like eye color, skin tone, and boy versus girl, who were we to put parameters on that blessing? We just wanted a chance to start at the beginning, with a healthy newborn, and things like gender or race would simply be part of the blessing we would receive.
Then the wait started and just kept lingering! We continued to send more and more profiles; revised with updates as Lifetime suggested. We made sure our home study was ready and updated after a year. At the 18-month mark of waiting came around, we found ourselves feeling a bit dejected and asking the question,”What if we’re never picked?” We asked ourselves that question a lot, especially after a promising match fell apart and it was hard to remain optimistic. We needed to continue to believe that a birth mom would see our profile and pick us to be the good parents she needed to find for her child.
Despite the waiting, we never relented on the details – we knew it was important to stay “ready.” We kept a “travel box” ready with things like important papers and other items for our inevitable trip. We paid our bills early, stayed on top of clothes washing and other household items and had time off plans ready and waiting for our respective workplaces.
And then, all of a sudden, it happened!

God Brought Us Together
Hi Amie,
We finalized Cooper's adoption! We had our adoption celebration last week by video conference! We are very excited!
Cooper is a great baby and I am truly blessed to have him in my life. I love being a mommy; it is the most amazing thing I have ever done. I want to thank you and everyone at Lifetime. I was very nervous going into the adoption process and you all helped to calm my nerves. For the most part, this journey was smooth with a few bumps but during those stressful times it was comforting to know that I had someone to call and talk through it with. I really liked the fact that Lifetime made me feel important and if I called with a question or concern I would get an immediate response. I can not say enough good about you, Dee and Lifetime. I have been called for a reference and look forward to sharing my story with more potential families. I also look forward to working with you in a couple years for a playmate for Cooper.
So from the bottom of our hearts we thank you and may God Bless your work!
-Stacey and Cooper

Tubs of Fun
Aiden just turned three months old and he is growing so fast! We went to the doctor and Aiden weighed 16 pounds and he was a little over 27 inches long! Our doctor said he was definitely going to be a tall boy and he's so advanced! Aiden amazes us every day with what he learns.
Last Sunday was his dedication service at our church. Aiden is the first adopted child in our church and he is such a blessing. We love being his parents! We are so thankful that God chose us to be a part of this precious child's life. We email Aiden's birthmother every Friday with all of his progress, stories of what he did that week, and pictures of him. Thanks again for everything! We will never forget the staff at Lifetime and we will never forget Aiden's adoption.

My First Disneyland Trip
Dear Veronica & my Lifetime Friends,
I hope you all had a really fun Valentine’s Day. I got to be at Disneyland for Valentine’s Day with mommy, daddy & Nana. I had a wonderful first trip to The Disneyland Resort. I just loved all the sights, sounds, characters and rides (even though I did sleep through a few of them). My first Disney ride was Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train in Bug’s Land at Disney’s California Adventure but I went on everything from Dumbo, Peter Pan, & Toy Story Mania to Pirate’s of the Caribbean. I also got to meet Mickey, Minnie, Tinker Bell, Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Pooh and Tigger. I wanted to take this opportunity during Valentine’s to tell you again how much I love and appreciate all of you at Lifetime for helping my birthmom and me find my Lifetime family. My birthmom calls often to express how happy she is for herself and for us that my mommy and daddy have the opportunity to raise me. Thank you for playing a huge role in making this all happen!
Love,
Katie (Tricia & Roger's Lifetime baby)

God's Gift From Above
We just wanted to drop a note to say thanks to all the wonderful Lifetime staff and to offer words of encouragement to waiting families.
God's timing is not our timing, but He is faithful to His promises. We are eternally grateful to Him for blessing us with our wonderful son Caleb. He is such a great baby. He is very alert, active and has the cutest smile that melts our hearts.
It is through God's gift we truly understand unconditional love. No matter how long or how difficult the wait may seem, don't give up and keep the faith. Know that all things work together for good. God is preparing you and your future birthmother for a match made in heaven. Be encouraged, be hopeful and be blessed.

Blessing From Above
There is only one word or "name" to describe the way we feel. It's JESUS! Regardless to any obstacle, God was in control. We are so overjoyed with this precious gift of life. We have so much we could say, but we truly want to say to all awaiting families is "What God has for you, it is for you! Please, pray, pray, pray, and keep the faith. God is with you!

Joy in Our Hearts
Hi Diane and Happy New Year to you and our Lifetime Family!
Ayden-Elizabeth is now is nine months old. We are so excited to watch her grow and develop her personality! She is truly our child as she mimics some of our daily habits which is funny for us to see. Ayden-Elizabeth is learning to walk and gets into everything that is not nailed down as she is a very active and curious baby; she just has to know how everything works in the house and beware--she hides every TV remote she gets her hands on all around the house. She is learning to say simple words and she is SO funny as her daddy is teaching her to dance and sing to her favorite cartoon and play jokes on her grandparents; it's so funny to see!
We still can't believe that she growing so fast and we have to pinch ourselves and think back to just a year ago we began our journey with Lifetime and were one of the many families waiting for "the call" that ultimately changed our lives forever. We still want to remind those waiting families out there that their time will come and God will place that special baby in their lives as He has done for us. We can not begin to describe the love we have for our daughter and the indescribable joy she brings to our hearts every day.
We are already planning for Ayden-Elizabeth's BIG first birthday bash even though we are still a few months away but we can't contain ourselves as she is so special to us. As always, we pray for God to work through you and everyone at Lifetime to assist with birthmother and family connections that make successful adoptions and realize dreams of parenthood for so many. We are lucky to be affiliated with Lifetime and can not thank you enough for all of your positive and spiritual energy that you provided us through our journey.
As you know we think of you often and continue the great job of changing lives!
Always with love and blessings,
Dave, Tiffany, and Ayden-Elizabeth

Forever Family
Hi Veronica,
We wanted to say and hello and let you know that things are going really well. Our parents came to visit us for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our New Year has been truly amazing because we have the beautiful little boy to spend it with; every day brings something new.
Grayson is such a good baby and he is growing like a weed. At two months old, he weighs 10 pounds and is 22 1/2 inches long; he coo's, smiles and is very active, we can tell he is very anxious to be mobile.
Matthew says that if he keeps growing like he is, we may have our future tight end for UGA yet (GO DAWGS!)
We will be finalizing our adoption on next month, and as you can imagine we are very excited.
Although we are already a forever family, it's nice to know that things are finally final.
We have no words to tell you how unbelievably happy and thankful we are to have been blessed with such an extraordinary birthmother and our son. Thank you Veronica and Lifetime family for always being so patient, kind and supportive thorough our journey. There were days when we felt like this long desired dream would never come true, but prayer is a powerful thing. We pray that God will keep His hands on you and the wonderful work that you all do.
Be Blessed,
Matthew, Kimberly & Grayson

Baby Me
Hello Veronica & my friends at Lifetime,
I went to see the doctor yesterday. I have gained two and a half pounds since my last visit and grew two inches in length. The doctor says I’m a very healthy little girl. He could tell I’m anxious to be moving around now and seeing what is going on around me. I smiled and cooed for the doctor too and showed him how strong I am.
Mommy talks to my birthmom two or three times a week still. She could hear me “talking” in the background during their last call. Thanks again for all your hard work toward my adoption. Thanks for letting us come meet you all last month too. It was really fun to see you! I hope you are all doing well and staying warm and dry in this crazy winter weather. I’ll write again when I can! Hugs and kisses to you all!
Love,
Katie (Lifetime baby of Roger & Tricia)

Oh, How They Grow
Aiden's getting so big! He's seven weeks old and he's been scooting for a couple of weeks now. He scoots all over his mat and pretty soon he'll be crawling all over our house! He eats constantly and he's growing so quickly in length. We can't seem to keep up with him...it seems like we're always in the formula section at the store.
In a couple of weeks we'll have to put him in the six-nine month size clothing. Aiden goes to the doctor for shots next week and we'll see how much he weighs and how long he will be. Hope all is well at Lifetime and we pray for all the waiting families to have a successful match soon. We love y'all and will never forget the amazing adoption journey we had!
Love,
Ryan & Brandi

Music Man
Xavier is growing so fast and becoming quite the character. He speaks very well for his age and processes information like children much older than he. It's hard to believe how fast time flies. Our little man will be three in a couple months!
He started daycare and he LOVES it. Being around other children and learning and experiencing new things is a blast to him.
He is also growing into being quite the musician. When we go to church, he is totally in sync with what our band is doing. He has a drum set that he can name the different kinds of drums, a keyboard, and will soon get a guitar. He loves all musical instruments but the drums are his niche. He is the band leader in the house giving orders as to what mommy is to play, daddy is to play and we can only play when he says so! Can you believe that?
We pray that you have a prosperous new year and that you had a great holiday. May God continue to bless you!
Sincerely,
Michael and Alonia

A Heart to Call Home
From bottle feedings every three hours to eating something every hour, it feels our baby boy has grown into a young man overnight. Each day we walk through our lives not knowing what the next minute or even second will bring us, but we continue anyway, with the faith that God will order our steps and guide our lives in a direction that will make life worthwhile.
This has definitely been a year that has proven the existence of a God way more than we could ever conceive and a life that is not defined by WHAT we have but WHO we have instead. Although Logan is not of our flesh, nor does he have our blood running through his veins, family is not who's connected to you by DNA, but by whom you love and by whom you cannot live without. We appreciate you for helping us give him a life that will one day allow him to look his birthmother in the eyes and tell her "thank you."
We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

Christmas Prayers
Mardie and Diane,
Another year goes by and we can't help to brag about our two beautiful daughters. We couldn't of done this without your help. Many thanks to both of you for making our dreams come true. They are the lights of our lives! They are true sisters in every sense of the word and we couldn't ask for anything better. Many prayers to those who are waiting to adopt...keep the faith, as when you least expect it God will give you the blessings that will fill your hearts with joy.
May you all be blessed during these holiday times and upcoming year.
With much love and gratitude,
Archie & Lori

Our Chosen Child
To the wonderful Lifetime staff,
We'll never fully be able to put into words how y'all have helped us, so caring and loving and just wonderful! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts or being used by God to help us start our family! Dee, you are an angel with much patience. We had tons of questions and concerns but you patiently answered me and we never once felt like we couldn't email you with a question. Diane, you were the one who gave us the wonderful news! Veronica, thank you for being there for us when we needed your wisdom most and for your concern with Aiden's birthmother. Libby, thank you so much for being so caring and helping us out with everything and trying to get that "perfect" profile! Mardie, we know you've touched so many lives and helped build forever families. We'll be forever thankful to you for creating Lifetime Adoption!
Aiden is precious and means the world to us. We all know that Aiden was chosen by God to be a part of this family and we've seen first-hand how God has used Aiden to change hearts and minds all around us! Aiden was well worth the wait. His birthmother means the world to us!
Love,
Ryan & Brandi

A Gifted Baby
Hello Our Forever Friends and Family;
We are sending well wishes for Christmas. Brennan has been such a blessing to our lives and everyone that he encounters! Can you believe he is ten months already? He is a very intelligent boy. We have taught him to count on his fingers as we count aloud! He also mimics us reading whenever he has a book in hand! We are forever grateful for your help and respect in finding Brennan.
May you have a very Merry Christmas. May God Bless you all,
Derrick, Tarsha & Brennan

The Love of Our Lives
Hi Veronica,
We are free to travel home as soon as Katelyn gets released from the hospital!
We have been tag-teaming with watching after Katelyn and getting her birthparents all set up. We have purchased the things they needed to set up the apartment including living room and bedroom furniture, microwave, coffee maker, TV, dishes, pots & pans, silverware, paper products, cleaning supplies, groceries, lamps, vacuum, bedding, towels, toiletries and a few post-maternity outfits and supplies. We have provided transportation for them to and from the hospital, shopping and the apartment and taken them out to dinner a few times.
Katelyn's birthmother did allow us access to Katelyn all three days of the waiting period. I think it was her way of saying good bye. We took them out to dinner on the way back home. We have talked to and/or seen Katelyn's birthmother almost daily since the birth and she continues to ask about Katelyn. From all indications we get from her, she is happy with her decision and of course we are over the moon to be Katelyn’s parents!
Thank you again for helping to facilitate Katelyn’s adoption! We appreciate you so much!
Love,
Tricia & Roger

Into Our Arms,
Unto Our Hearts
Hey Diane,
We are all doing great. Our baby is super easy going. We named her Anaya Quyana Marie (Naya for short).
We are taking Anaya to visit her birthparents for a pre-Thanksgiving dinner. We plan to keep regular visits with them as long as we are stationed in the area. We took Anaya's birthmother home from the hospital and all the kids took turns holding Anaya. It is fun to see them with the baby.
We just wanted to thank you and everyone at Lifetime for making this happen for us. It is hard to believe that only six months ago we started this process and now we have Naya home with us! Thank you again for everything you have done. It has been a wonderful experience. We couldn't be happier with our daughter or the birth family we matched with. We will certainly be back with Lifetime in the future when we are ready for another baby (once we catch up on our sleep!) Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.
Love,
Ross & Callea

The Greatest Gift
Dear Lifetime Staff,
It has been two months since Noah came home to us, and he is adjusting to life on our farm and having a younger brother better than anyone could have imagined! He LOVES getting to ride the tractor each day with daddy and has already picked a favorite cow from our herd, her name is 'Radiant' and she is a playful two year old with a very messy mop of hair on her head. You can find him at chore time in the feed bunk hugging her neck, or lovingly spreading her a bed of soft straw to lie on. The boys are also fond of the new set of twin heifer calves we have in the barn, they both have one chosen to name and care for.
Although we adopted out of birth order, both Noah and Kohl seem to enjoy having a brother and already have a wonderful bond. Noah fits into our family so well, others who visit the farm have no idea he only arrived in September. We have appreciated Lifetime's professional involvement and were impressed when we had a potential match within three and a half months, (even though that match did not work out). Lifetime continued working hard for us and we had another match within two months, and just three months later Noah came home forever. All said and done, God has brought the right child into our home and we are especially thankful this year for our newest blessing and for Lifetimes support and commitment to adoption.
Thank you Lifetime for making our adoption a priority, during one of your busiest seasons yet!
Warmest Blessings this Thanksgiving,
Michael, Trish, Noah and Kohl

Our Pride & Joy
Hi Diane,
How are you all at Lifetime? We've referred a friend to Lifetime. We gave RAVING recommendations about the staff and services and how well you all take care of your families and handle business.
The kids are great. Vincent tested at a fourth grade reading level - he's seven and in the second grade! We're super proud of him, he just has to talk a lot in class. So we're dealing with that. Izabel is a true DIVA. She is blossoming each day into a litte lady. Her vocabulary is extraordinary and she loves to be the center of attention. Vincent is still her protector and they play so well together - he has even shared the playroom with her. It is beautiful to see them love each other so much and so well, a bond I know they'll have forever.
Have a Happy & Safe Thanksgiving,
Sean & LaLeche

Cute as a Bug!
Hi Diane,
Madilynn was a lady bug this Halloween. She is now five months old and doing really well. We have all the medical therapies in place now and she is making improvements every day. She has started to smile, is about to roll over and loves holding her toys.
Thanks again for all you do,
Michelle and Jerry

Adopted a Baby Boy!
baby Nijel Kekoa, born six pounds, three ounces, and 19 inches long. He's the love of our lives!
We remember checking the Lifetime website on a daily basis at times, especially during the rough days when the thought of adopting a baby of our very own seemed like it would never happen. It gave us hope to know that families were actively being matched and bringing home their babies. We'd like to dearly thank everyone at Lifetime for making our dreams come true! Above all, we are forever grateful to and will always cherish Nijel's birthmother and birthfather!
We are SO thrilled to have this precious little bundle in our lives!

Our Big Family
Hi Amie,
We had a great experience on our trip to the Lifetime office! Keenan is almost three months old and doing very well. His pediatrician is impressed with his strength, alertness and remarkable good looks. Keenan attracts a crowd where ever we go!
Keenan is so strong, he rolled over from his belly to his back, he can sit up on the couch, and he even crawled a few inches on the changing table. He can stand on our laps and we won't be surprised if he decides to walk by Halloween.
Give our best to everyone there, and many thanks for making us a "big" family and making Vanessa a "big" sister. We thank God every single night this way. We love him so much and feel like we've always been together.

A Hair-Raising Experience
Hi Diane,
Ayden-Elizabeth is six months old and she is doing GREAT! Here is a picture that will make you laugh your heart out! Ayden-Elizabeth does not enjoy getting her hair combed so here she is very upset with me as we were preparing to go for dinner the other night and simply refused to have anything done to her hair! Hope you enjoy and take care...love you guys!!!

Sensational Siblings
We feel like we're living in a dream! Chantel is very excited to be a big sister to Brianna. Brianna's birthmom is wonderful and we talk almost every day. We were so proud of Brianna when she came to Marcela when she was feeling tired. Brianna's birthmom felt extremely happy because she said that her decision was the correct one.
Thanks again for all your support during this time!

Ready for Action
Hello Everyone!
Here is a photo to update you on our little man. He just turned eight months (can you believe it?). He has four little teeth that he uses to bite unsuspecting victims! He is scooting aound "commando style" and is THIS close to really crawling. He figured out that people love a baby even more if he waves, so that is his new trick. Of course, he is a budding musical genius, as seen here.
Keep up the good work,
Keith, Kelly and baby Cameron

What Handsome Looks Like
Dear Diane, D'Arce and Heidi,
We just wanted to catch you up on life in our busy household. Jordan is turning six months in just over a week! Where does the time go? He is very interested in the world around him and loves to smile and laugh. He is almost crawling and just this week started to walk when you hold his hands. It won't be long before he's into everything. We still continue to update the website we created for our out-of-town family, friends and Jordan's birth mother. Here is a picture of Jordan so you can see how adorable he is!

And Baby Makes Three
Hi Diane,
Our Lifetime baby Ayden-Elizabeth is now four months old. She is simply amazing and she is touching so many lives! She is growing soooo fast and we are still overjoyed just by her mere presence. We are striving each day to be the best parents we can to Ayden-Elizabeth and we are loving every minute watching her develop her personality (already a jokester like her dad!) and reaching monthly developmental milestones (already holding her bottle, scooting everywhere on the floor...you name it!)
By way, wanted you to know that her adoption has been finalized and we are glad it's all over where we can just enjoy her! Thanks again for everything!

The Greatest Miracle of All
We are so overjoyed with our new son! He got here via a rocky road, but he is here and that is all that matters. We prayed so much for this angel and God has answered our prayers. If we could share a word of advice, we would tell families to absolutely keep focused on the baby that they are praying for...all the legal issues and stress of the process will be done with at some point and your baby will have been worth the trouble ten-fold. Don't let anything stand in your way and don't give up. God hears your prayers and wants every one of His precious babies to have a family that will cherish what gift they have been blessed with. He needs you to be the vehicle for that to happen regardless of any obstacles, be it a wait, money, etc.
We would like to thank everyone at Lifetime, and especially Veronica who really was a rock for us when things got crazy.
Thanks,
Stephanie and Krisztian

Love at First Sight
Madilynn was born at 9:53, and weighed six pounds, eleven ounces and 19 inches long. It was love at first sight!
Our call came while Jerry was deployed. Michelle spoke with the birth mother on the phone several times before the due date.
She flew to California the day before the delivery, picked up Madilynn's birthmother and took her to the hospital, and was with her until Madilynn was born. It was such a special moment being in the delivery room when she was born! I was so greatful to the birthmother for having me in there for the delivery.
After Madilynn was born, there were medical complications. Our hearts just broke for our little girl. She was in the nursery for three days where she underwent many tests. She was then transferred to a NICU at a nearby hospital. We were here for another 10 days, underwent a further battery of tests. In the end it was found that she has a laryngeal cleft and she needed a feeding tube. We came home when she was 14 days old and then had to go back into hospital to get the feeding tube inserted and have a procedure to stop her reflux.
All though we have had our ups and downs with medical issues, this little girl is the love of our lives! Jerry was able to come home from his deployment for two weeks to meet her. She is now nine pounds, six and a half ounces, and although she will require the feeding tube for 12 months she is improving every day. She is the sweetest little girl, and she is such an easy baby. Our family is so BLESSED to have this little girl in our lives.
Thank you so much LIFETIME. No words can express just how happy you have made our family.
-Michelle and Jerry

Dancing Through Life
Now that Sarah has determined that she has mastered the art of walking, she promptly dispensed with it entirely. Now life is about running, skipping, jumping and most important of all, dancing!
On rare occasions, Sarah does slow down for a while, and now that she has her first tea set, she really wants visitors to stop by for tea...

The Magic of Everyday
We wanted to make sure you stayed updated on what is going on with Xavier or "X-man" as my family calls him! He’s two years old now and into everything! As you can see in his picture, he is quite the character.
He is so far ahead of children his age, it is uncanny. His vocabulary floors us because it is so vast for a child of two years. He loves to get read to and he picks out the books he likes to hear and can tell the story in some of them. Potty training…well…that is still a journey! We figure any child that can tell us where to find his pull-ups and wipes can tell us when he needs to use the potty.
He is in the get out of bed stage and crawl into ours in the middle of the night. There’s nothing like waking up to a foot in your back! Gotta love him! He absolutely loves the drums, so we get concerts each and every day. Christ is important to him as well. He knows how to say his grace. He says his prayers in the mornings. I overheard him praying one morning in his room by himself. He and his nanny sing Christian songs during the day; so much so that he can sing the lyrics alone.
He is absolutely and joy to us and everyone he comes in contact with. His friendly demeanor (as long as he hasn’t just gotten up from a nap) melts the heart. He is truly a blessing in our lives. He thoroughly enjoys the company of other kids. He plays well with our godchildren and other kids he meets while he and his nanny are at the park. Until next time, may God continue to bless you abundantly!
Sincerely,
Mike, Alonia and Xavier

Love at First Sight
We are so overjoyed with our second adoption, we just don't have the words for it. We had barely finished the paperwork with Lifetime when we were matched with a wonderful birth mother! She was about seven months pregnant when we spoke to her in January, and her baby was here by the end of March! He was a week late, but that gave us time to travel and get settled in temporary housing, to spend some time getting to know our birth mother and her family, to attend an ultrasound appointment with her, and to prepare for the arrival of our son.
Jordan's birth was very special to us and we are so happy that we were at the hospital. In fact, we were holding him when he was just a few minutes old! Now we are back home and settling in with our new addition. He is a such a happy baby. We have a wonderful relationship with our birth mother and decided to create a website for our out-of-town family and friends, including our birth mother and her family, to follow along with Jordan as he grows. Jordan weighed eight and a half pounds when he was born and even though he's just two months old, he is already tipping the scales at 14 pounds and is 25.5 inches long!
Our entire family is in love with this handsome little boy and we are so thankful to our birth mother for her selflessness and courage. We also want to thank Diane, D'Arce and everyone at Lifetime for facilitating our adoption. We can't imagine how the adoption process could have gone any more quickly or smoothly!

Hello Lifetime Angels,
Hope you are all doing well and getting ready for summer!
Ty was asked by one of his day care providers to be a ring bearer in her wedding - needless to say, he looked adorable in his tuxedo, as you can see. The little beauty with him is Hannah the flower girl. She is also three and they are best friends!
Ty just asked to see his Lifetime Angels...He talks about you all the time.

A Heart to Call Home
Jordan is more beautiful than we could have ever imagined! We are so completely in love with him - and some how, some way Jordan has Jason's exact nose!
Jordan's birthmother also loves him very much - so much that she is willing to give him the life she cannot provide, with the hope that he will be cherished and have many opportunities, including an education and travel experiences that we are providing for our son Ty. She is a strong woman and we have come to care about her very much. She has given us a blessed gift! We feel very blessed to have this baby boy and to have met her. No matter how many times we say it, we could never thank her for the miracle she has placed in our care. Having been through this experience, we can say that it has changed our lives and our hearts forever.

A Match Made in Heaven
Hi Veronica,
How quickly time passes! Malia is now six weeks old and she is doing just great! We could not have been matched up with a more perfect little angel; she captured our hearts from day one and we are enjoying every minute with her!
We keep in touch with her birthmom and she seems to be doing well. She holds a very special place in our hearts and we are so greatful we have had the opportunity to get to know her.
Warmly,
Janice & Erasmus

We Cherish Each Moment
Hello Veronica,
Gabby now weighs 11 pounds now and her pediatrician said that she is very advanced developmentally for her age; she recognizes both of us, she is smiling and laughing in response to being talked to and played with, she follows you with her eyes as you move throughout the room and if she could get the words out, she would be talking already! She is very very strong, and is holding her head up like she is six months old and trying to sit forward on her own!
She is actually teething a little bit, discovering her hands, babbling up a storm and she loves watching TV. In addition to a thousand and one great developmental shows, there are programs that expose her to the Spanish language and we speak to her consistently in Spanish and in English. No better time than now to help teach her another language!
We are in awe of everything about her and she is probably one of the most photographed and videotaped babies out there! Every day, we are amazed at something new that she is doing. Her newest “thing” is pretending to be shy and laying her head down on my shoulder when someone talks to her, all the while showing them her absolutely beautiful smile. She is a true joy and we can’t get enough of her.
We are all so in love with her and tell everyone that every single thing about her is perfect, beautiful and blessed and we cherish every single moment of our lives with her.

This Child of Ours
Just the other day, we were thinking about what an amazing gift Lifetime gave when you introduced us to Isaiah's birthmother.
Here is a shot of our handsome boy. We send our sincere appreciation to everyone in your office!

Life is Sweet
We just want to thank everyone there at Lifetime that has worked with us throughout this whole adoption journey. We have experienced many different emotions during this process and there were times that we felt like we would never make it to this point! But looking back now, we know that every experience was necessary in order to be blessed with our baby girl!
Now that she is here, we can't imagine what life was like without her! Not only did we get a wonderful baby girl, we have the most wonderful birth mother that anyone could have asked for!! Nothing could be sweeter! We are truly blessed!

Capture the Moment
Gabby is doing great! She already weighs 8 pounds, 3 ounces and has grown two inches! She is so full of smiles and if she could, she would be talking up a storm already!
She is extremely alert and aware of everything going on around her. She likes to listen to her Baby Einstein Lullaby CD and she falls asleep to it every night. She absolutely loves taking baths and throws a "diva" fit when bathtime is over. Her big brother and sister can't get enough of her and the same goes for all of her grandparents, aunts and uncles. She gets more beautiful with every day that passes and we still can't believe that she is ours! We take pictures of her almost every single day and she is a big fan of the camera, always ready for a picture!
We are so overjoyed and amazed at God's wonder and love and we just hope that Gabby's birthmother knows how she changed our lives.
